nice sunny day, little wind. right at tree line east side of hot dog bowl
Snowpack
where we were skiing there was quite a bit of whumping and settleing. snow did not drop much but large areas whumped. pit showed lots of sugar snow but no real shear layers.
Avalanche
saw avalanche across valley on the nokhu ridge east face, could not see start zone as it was behind rocks, ran to bottom with large debris pile just above trees.
