28" on ground is right at average. New snow was low density, prone to wind transport. There were banner clouds off Notch Mtn

Basically facets though they are showing signs of rounding. The lower 42 cm was 2mm depth hoar, some chains right at the ground but you could see the necks were gaining mass.
