Weather
-2F when I left my house at 9 am. Got up to about 0F in the drainage. Occasional squalls would cross over, but only a 1/2" accumulation during the day. Between squalls you could see shadows. Later in the day around 4 PM when clouds began to dissipate I could see there was blowing snow off the Tenmile Crest. Master stake at Francie's had 15" With 8" new in the drainage over night that would mean as of the 8th there was only 7" on the ground which would equate to the lowest snowpack year since stake went in in 1996. With 15" it equals the 2001-2002 season total snow for the date.
Snowpack
Most areas I traveled had new snow on 2 to 3" of facets. Any south aspect was new snow on ground
