Snowpack
The snowpack remains overall quite thin and weak. Continued cold temperatures have been at work, turning the entire snowpack to facets in most places. There is very little tension below treeline. Some wind slabs persist near and above treeline, though these are also being broken down by the faceting process. The most likely place to trigger and avalanche is in areas where larger, contiguous slabs persist- specifically northerly terrain near and above treeline. It will get ugly in a hurry (everywhere) when/if we do get a big storm.
