Weather
Trace of new snow. Temps noticeably cooler than yesterday. Snow flurries throughout the day, no real accumulation. Sun popped out a number of times. Light winds.
Snowpack
Only froze 10cm deep at parking lot in AM, wet to ground below (10,500 ft). Wet to surface when returned to parking lot at 4pm. 30 cm crust at surface on flat ground at ~11,500 with wet snow to ground below. Snow wet to ground on all but north aspects ATL. Found several slopes facing directly north, NTL & ATL, that were still entirely dry. Even a little bit northwest or northeast was enough to develop wet snow or a crust. Patchy snowcover generally, especially all aspects except east ATL, and southerly aspects BTL.
Avalanche
Observed several wet slab avalanches from earlier in the week.
