mostly clear, strong ridge top winds which were making it to the valley bottom. Pleasant temps.

Snowpack

We chose not to venture into the Alpine due to the winds. At and near treeline there was obvious changes to the snowpack with the onset of the winds. The snow gained a slabby feel on the surface, but was still very unconsolidated and faceting below. Depth was 40-50cm in the westerly terrain and 70-80cm in the northerly terrain.
