We dug a pit at ~1835m on a SSE aspect. Second wrist tap failure 0.25cm down on surface hoar. Aspect was in the sun and the snow was quite wet down to the failure point. ~30 deg slope with moderate to significant pinwheeling Loose wet sliding on the headwall above us. 3cm ice crust on everything that wasn't directly in the sun made for some challenging riding conditions back to the resort.
