Dug a pit at the end / 3rd nub at Bow Summit. No results on CT. Even when putting body weight on the column post CT only top layers giving in to weight no failure below. Around 30cm newer snow sitting a top a few harder crust layers (around 35cm deep to ground). Around 4 layers hardening with small softer sections between - maybe consolidating? No expert though. First layer softer, bottom 3 hard. No sugary loose layer found. Day was overcast today (Friday) no solar or wind affect, had also skied here Thursday with sun and wind affect in skiing was interested to see how it affected today, but with about 2-5cm fresh on top feels like on a supportive top layer in sections.
