Surprisingly fantastic conditions at Ogden today. The in up to the lake is in good condition, no issues crossing the lake. Hard trail breaking all the way to the top of the benches, knee deep at minimum. Amazing light fluffy 50-60cm fresh made incredible turns at the top. Did observe a large crown, poss size 1.5 on the south end of the benches in steep unsupportive terrain. This new snow was super light and not pressed into wind slab, however any warmer or windier I suspect will change quickly and would be quite dangerous as the October crust was solid. The out from the benches to the lake… …was sporty.
