Excellent skiing conditions on new storm snow. Cracks visible in the 20ish cms of new snow around our skin track. No whumpfing noticed. New storm snow seemed more reactive the more northerly the aspect.

Compression test showed several results CTE2 20 down Progressive compression CTM16 40 down Progressive compression CTH26 55 down Resistant planar We carried out an extended column test in which no fracture occurred. Once forced the column failed on the buried crust 55cm down.
