While rapping Bourgeau right today the gully on climbers right had a loose snow avalanche that contained a good deal of rocks. Day was cloudy and calm, but at about 1400h the winds picked up and about 1500h the avalanche occurred. Scary bit everyone is fine. Ps. Getting to the base of the route was the crux of the day… soloing snow covered slab was exciting.
