Skinned up one of the knobs in the Pulpit area. As soon as we entered the treeline band with thinning trees we experienced settling cracks consistently (mostly running between trees) as we continued up the slope, anything higher angled settled immensely with large whumpfs underfoot. Cut our losses and skied mellow DEEP terrain back down in the cold. Stay safe out there everyone!
