Toured below treeline terrain on East, West and Southwest aspects between 2050m and 1480m on the Northeast side of Evening Ridge and West side of Mount Beattie. Good protected skiing in this area despite the Moderate to Strong Ridge top winds from the East. Height of snow is in the 200cm range. No suncrust observed on these aspects. Cracking and whumpfing observed near ridge top but no new avalanches observed.
