Overcast with light wind. Started hiking 9:30 am, finished riding around 12:00 pm. Primarily north facing rounding to southeast along the road.

North aspects, trees, 10,600-11,200: heavy snow, affected by warm temperatures during the previous day. North aspects, trees, 11,200-11,600: powdery snow, light, fun riding. North aspects, above treeline, 11,500' ENE ridgeline: shallow and windblown hard snow/ice Southeast facing slope, 11,500', above road before Mt Goliath Natural Area, below ridgeline: hard wind slab, unsupportive. Easy to punch through hard layer when skinning. See picture
