Warm temperatures, clear skies and calm winds at all elevations up to 12,200ft.

Snowpack

Fairly simple snowpack until we get some more snow. Snowpack below and near treeline was faceted all the way down to the ground. We observed isolated pockets of surface hoar resting on top of fist hard facets to the ground below treeline. Snowpack was approximately 30cm deep below treeline and averaged about 60cm near treeline. As we moved above treeline we found some pockets of very thin slabs due to wind on leeward slopes.
