Clear skies and intense radiation were the headline with warm temps and a light west breeze.
Snowpack
North slopes near tree line had a height of snow around 150cm with a wet surface and moist snow all the way to the ground. There was some faceting around the melt-freeze crusts recently buried by Friday's snow last week (about 20cm) and snowpack tests showed some sensitivity on the old crust and new snow interface snow. The snow surface was in a radiation recrystallization regime. On south slopes (HS 150cm) near tree line the storm had reset the surface melt-water regime. I found liquid water within a few cm of the surface but most of the storm snow was unaffected by melt water yet. The same layering of melt-freeze crusts were present as the north slopes but much harder with a higher ice content.
