CLR-FEW-OVC, max temp 28/15 deg. W 10 G 20. A quick shot of snow this afternoon starting at 1530.
Snowpack
Snow surfaces started to soften on SE aspects @ 1230, incoming clouds and a light breeze preventing anything further even for low elevation sheltered S aspects. S aspects BTL are holding preserved moist FC below 2/8 interface to the ground w/ an avg. HS of 30-40 cm's. EBM has areas with wet slab potential to watch over the next few days w/ a 1F slab on small FC over a MFC w/ more weak FC below (photo attached). A shallower pack observed digging ATL on W-SW aspects with minimal slab and numerous crusts and ice forms.
