Avalanche
Small wet loose avalanches were plentiful. Typicaly releasing from rock out crops on steep southerly facing slopes. Triggered a large avalanche on a ENE facing slope of Mt Axtel. This was an interesting avalanche as it released on multiple different interfaces. It even stepped down to the January drought layer and gouged to the ground in some places. The 3/13 interface was the same story, with 1mm to 1.5mm facets on a crust on ENE or the same facets without the crust on more NE-facing sections of the crown. The January drought layer was larger 2 to 3mm facets. Crown heights were all over the place, from 20cm to over 2m.
