65cm HS at 2100m NW Aspect Able to start skinning up logging road at 1450m -10c at 1430h Sky clear and sunny, winds calm Very thin snowpack but just enough to ski open treed meadows at treeline. Much attention was given to identifying Heather/grass VS rock beneath the snow. Way too early season for any real ski objectives but still nice to go have a look at things in October.
