Extream winds have blows new snow from earlier in the week to protected pockets loading 30cm+ Everywhere els is hard pack. Little wind drifts and cornices all broke lose where the wind piled up the snow. We stayed away from the big cornices and wind loaded hills.

The wind was blowing the snow up the hills so much we could hardly see where we were going at ridge line. It didn’t actually snow the cloud cover was high.
