Spring ski up Cokely. Found a bullet-proof ice crust up to ~1400m. At that point we decided it wasn't worth going for the top so we lapped the Rousseau Chute. By ~2pm the sun was popping out from behind the clouds enough to soften just the top bit of the snowpack.

Hard icy surface. Felt crust on probe at ~25cm down. Thereafter it all felt uniform until 200cm where there was a harder crust like feature to probe through.
