Ride Type

Riding Quality
terrible
Snow Conditions
crusty, heavy, hard

Solid hardpack crust skiing down the SE face from the peak, crunchy concrete snow riddled with tree bombs along the run (don't go down the middle), up to 2.5in-thick crust that was hard to break through with decreasing elevation when skiing through tight trees after the mid-face knoll. Not easy to ski but can still make your way down and scrape a few turns along the way. Snow was thick/heavy (borderline slush) near the bottom within 100m vertical of the first switchback along Ottomite FSR.
