January 24th SH layer 60 cm down at 1575m (BTL) on NE aspect and 70cm down at 2100m (TL) on E aspect. Hard RP results. The last storm snow (Feb 21) has settled to 20cm and outside of wind affected/loaded areas, is not cohesive enough to be of concern. Some buried windslabs in the alpine. Evidence of strong west wind and of some south wind at ridgetop. We avoided windloaded areas to enter the Repeater North line. A wind crust from downflow wind could be felt in places down to roughly 2050m. Below that it skied really well with 20cm boot penetration until a mostly supportive temperature crust started to be felt around 1400m.
