Gotta go to knoll

Sunny day up the summit knoll with good riding in the gulleys and lower down in some of the sheltered glades. Snow was variable with 2-15cm of loose facets or in some cases thin, crusty rime overlying wind slab or faceting crust. No signs of instability were observed. Alpine temperature cooled throughout the day and was -15C at 1300m at 1230. Wind was a chilly 20km/h from the Northeast. Skies clear throughout the day with valley cloud observed near the south end of Tutshi Lake.

Limited blowing snow observed from peaks > 2000m in the area.
