Blue skies for the first time in awhile, westerly winds still blowing, but with less power than preceeding days.
Snowpack
Snowpack in the vicinity of CR2 is significantly less than Red Mountain Pass and average avalnche size was likely smaller than those observed in deeper areas.
Avalanche
Widespread natural avalanche cycle. Larger avalanches observed broke above or near treeline and many crowns were filled in. Smaller avalanches broke below treeline, but took most of the seasons snowpack with them.
