Weather
Lingering light snow with little additional accumulation. Temps in the teens and light SW-W winds.
Snowpack
CAIC forecast describes the snowpack conditions and aspects of concern. Faceted snow exists where early winter storms left a shallow snow cover that is now covered by the recent snowfall. Did not observe as much collapsing as I might have expected.
Avalanche
Suicide Bowl; NE, 11,600’. Two avalanches in the most common locations (top left, and top right). Top left was old and the evidence was mostly covered by continuing snowfall. Top right was fresher.
