Snowpack stability tests conducted on a South facing, 25 degree slope, (before the convex rollover 35 degree), elevation 8,875 feet, exposed wind affected location. HS=85cm, CTM17, SC, sudden collapse, down 45CM, facets on a crust. ECTP28, SC, full propagation across the column with a sudden collapse, down 45 CM, facets on a crust Found storm snow bonding well to old snow surface, two buried crusts with facets, and loose faceted snow grains deeper in the pack.
