Overcast skies with flurries building to the north near Wilson and Lizard Head. Temps dropped and as NW winds picked up around 1500 hrs.
Snowpack
Observed NW-N-NE aspects of Graysill Crk from 11,800 down to 11,000'. HS: ~130-150cm. 2 skiers in close proximity was not enough to cause collapsing. Snowcat building road was 50+m away and large collapses from that distance were observed. Pit lower in elevation propagated with moderate results down 80cm in Dec snow. Pit NTL propagated with hard results down 1m in the same Dec snow.
Avalanche
Only two avalanches were observed. Each event had occurred prior to the Jan 29th storm and each had sled tracks near their run-outs. It is unclear if these were remote trigger or natural. E, 11,800' SS-U-R1.5-D2 N 11,800' SS-U-R3-D2
