Weather

Cold (0 deg F) at the car at 0900, slight inversion, moreso on the north side of RMP. Blowing snow on the San Miguel county line but none NTL. FEW skies. Light N winds.

Snowpack

Not many obs, stayed on skin track on the ascent.

Avalanche

SS-AS-R1D1-U BTL NW aspect at the top of Cemetary. Looks like it was skier-triggered from below as the group traversed west out of the trees and into the open on Cemetery run. Crown around 11,400'. Coded in this ob. https://avalanche.state.co.us/report/11413fc6-57b3-4667-bd83-bdb48480459c SS-N-D1-U BTL W aspect 10,100', right across the creek from HWY 550 just north of the first hairpin turn above Ironton. Small avalanche but crown looked like it went down to 12/25 interface, 2' estimated crown with 50' width.
