Weather

Cold, mostly cloudy, some blowing wind and snow. Winter like conditions above 10500 feet, cold temperatures, maybe around 20 F.

Variable on different aspects, wind crust, sun crust, powder.

Avalanche

Human Triggered wind slab near top of couloir, 3 foot crown on NE aspect. Pit dug 1/3 way up route did not reveal wind slab layer that was encountered higher up. Full run, all 3 party members were caught in slide, but all ended up on surface and were able to ski out. One lost ski, two lost poles.
