Weather

Partly cloudy, warm, storm squalls but nothing hitting the ground, intense solar radiation and green housing, slightly Breezy at and above Treeline keeping the snow surface slightly cooler

Snowpack

Below Treeline surface crust breaking down, ski penetration 1 or 2 in, boot penetration would be fully to ground, unsupportable, relatively easy to break through surface crust with hard pole plant, at and above Treeline snow more firm but still 1 to 2in ski penetration and moist snow surface, sticky. 1 rumbling collapse with shooting cracks in Meadow on very slight slope. Steeper slopes no signs of instability, but roller balling beginning to emanate from Western cliff and rock faces at 1:30. Many wet loose from easterly aspects, one with fairly good-sized debris. Dust distribution: Northerly and easterly aspects relatively dust-free, Westerly and Southerly aspects forming small sand dunes. Dust pressed into every depression in the meadow below tree line but for the most part dust has been blown to the Western aspects of Mayflower Gulch.
