Weather

Weather was 25-30 F, sunny and clear skies. Wind was mild maybe about 5 mph. Elevation of the slide was about 12058.

Snowpack

Snowpack in the area was strong over weak, persistent slab. Pit was dug near area on a NE aspect slope with a slope angle of 18 degrees. Compression Test CT-24 / Hard result.

Avalanche

Avalanche occurred with clear persistent slab debris. Crown, bed, and deposit were all clearly visible.
