Good storm skiing weekend around cerise creek. Snow quality and skiing was generally really good between 1400m - 1800m. Couple of reported Sa wind slab avalanches on Motel 66 on Saturday afternoon, but I didn't pry too much for details. I think another report may be coming regarding those.

Snow profile was 15cms of new on 15cm of stiff slab sitting on 2cm layer of 4F facets. Did 2 CTs; first one suddenly failed down 30 to facets while cutting the back of the column with a ski. Did a second one with a snow saw in a separate location, CTH21 RP down 30 to same facet layer.
