Had a small avalanche while ski touring at The Gorge 14.5KM. We didn’t see any recent avalanche activity or any signs of instability while on the way up . Ski cut a slope that didn’t produce anything results. Second person came down but was a bit to the side of where the ski cut was and produced a 1.5 avalanche . Skier was caught and was buried up to her thigh . Lost a ski and a pole but was otherwise unharmed . While skiing out to get to a safer slope we ski cut another size 1. Slope was NE facing . Suspected failed on the SH that was buried down after the most recent storm . Other than that skiing was great .
