Spent 4 nights at The Yurt, Jan 4-8. Came in self-propelled from the Dewar-Westfork junction. Skied glades on Couch Potato Peak and Serendipity. During our time there 50-60cm of fresh powder fell on a generally consolidated base. Storm slabs were reactive at times and a size 1.5-2 off the W aspect of Patrick buried an older skin track and dusted ours. Wind was transporting snow in the alpine Jan 7 and we anticipate wind slabs are likely now present in the alpine.
