Broke trail up to Sapphire Col hut the night before, dug out the front door and toilet. Light wind overnight made the stay quite pleasant, what a beautiful position. Day 2 broke trail along Mount Jupiters summits, roping up for some sections due to varying depths of new snow on top of faceted snow in places and found the pre built anchor for the rappel off of Pollux onto the final ridge before Leda. Had a blank canvas coming down Thorington and conditions were all time!

Throughout Jupiter Traverse, new snow on top of facets in most places made breaking trail (wallowing) time consuming. West and East aspects of Mount Jupiter wind affected but once at the Col below the summit of Leda there was amazing powder snow down the Thorington run all the way to valley bottom.

Observed party behind us ski cut the steeper, convex entrance into Thorington below the Col. Multiple loose slides up to sz 0.5 on solar aspects observed.
