We rode lines along the NNE aspect of Paddy NE4. 20-25 of light, fluffy pow on top of 80cm of consolidated snow. We dug a pit on the far NNE slope at ~1250m. Fresh layer gave at 22cm, CT4. A semi-bonded new-old snow layer 55cm from the surface gave at CT14. Only light sluffing on 25-30 degree slopes. Wind effect on east aspects. Snowpack is still pretty thin in the trees. It'll be possible to ski all the way to the road after the next storm passes, but we walked the last 3/4 km.
