Skiier-triggered size 1 wind slab avalanche at Fraser Chutes (if skinning up creek, slide occurred in first major chute to skiers' right). Crown was 15-20 m wide across the top of the chute. Crown was 10-20cm in height. Slide ran approximately 100m. Second skiier (first skiier had already gone down chute and had moved out of runout zone) triggered avalanche upon entering chute and quickly exited chute into small trees on skiiers left upon trigger. Nobody was caught in the slide. We retreated via skintrack. Needless to say conditions at/above/in some places even slightly below treeline are very wind affected at Fraser. Deep powder in forest and lots of new snow and wind on the pass. Temps only slightly below zero at Fraser/Summit this weekend but significant wind chill.
