We skied in the Jumbo Pass area from Nov 28 - Dec 1. Upon arrival on the 28th, we encountered dry boot top powder on all aspects and calm-light westerly winds in the alpine. We skied steep alpine slopes (~45 degrees) on the 28th and 29th. The 30th and 1st brought light snow and poor visibility with increased winds from the west. Good skiing at TL and BTL, however open creeks and early season hazards were present below 2000m. We noted an average snow depth of 125cm at Jumbo Hut (2300m). We did not notice an natural avalanches, whumpfing or cracking. We had not results on the Nov crust, it's easy to find about 70cm's below the surface.
