Very few people up Thar which meant all fresh lines for us (+) but trail breaking most of the way up (-). Roughly 40cm fresh on a firm base. Light enough though that trail breaking was not too onourous. About 130cm base, which covered most of the bush, except lower down. Had to skirt several bluffs on the way up and had to boot pack over one. Coming down we kept to safer, semi-treed lines. Set off one very minor slide with a 30cm crown fracture but it only ran about 10 meters and no one was caught.
