Quick compression test on a due east aspect, 40 degree slope, at the upper area of treeline with some amount of shelter from glacial downwind. Purpose was to find the PWL and determine its reactivity at and below treeline in this micro area. In comparison to the Sea to Sky region the weak layer was not visibly discernable. CTE 6 (BRK) down 11, recent snow. CTM 18 (BRK) down 27. CTH 28 (BRK/SP) down 112 on the PWL. The 28th hit caused part of the column to fail as SP and part of it not to fail.
