We dug a pit near the top of grassy mountain on a south facing slope. The snow pack was very consistent. Two crusts where located at 70 and 75 cm from the ground. There was no weakness observed. NO fractures were observed during the extended column test (10 times tap from wrist, 10 from elbow and 10 from shoulder). The picture shows the shovel penetration and the intact column after the test.
