Weather

Elevation approximately 12000 foot level. East-facing ridge just southeast of Glacier Mountain peak near Montezuma

Snowpack

Snow in the Deer Creek drainage, above tree line, exhibited wind slab. See photo 3 of fracturing on a very mild slope east of the avalanche observations, but above tree line.

Avalanche

These observed slides appeared to trigger just below wind blown cornices and probably occurred after the most recent storm. These two avalanches appeared to be triggered naturally. There was a 3rd slide in a northerly direction of these two, but I wasn’t able to get a good picture
