Snowpack

We found the buried November 5 rain crust throughout our trip at all elevations and aspects, from Dry Lake up to 9800ft. It was widespread, 4-6mm thick, and stout yet collapsible under our weight. Also noted a V layer 50cm down. Snow height ranged 30cm at Dry Lake to 70-80cm deep in wind-sheltered locations near the top of Bitch Creek.
