Avalanche

An unidentified skier hiked up below the chute where the avalanche would break free, crossing a very small section of the path (tracks visible in the attached photo). When he reached the top of the ridge (from the perspective below) the slab broke from the top of the ridge and fell several hundred feet. The skier was not caught in the avalanche. He was seen on the ridge skiing away from the avalanche area and confirmed exiting back to the road via the Second Creek trail. The photo was taken from the Broome Hut.
