Weather
At 1100; 12" new snow with 1.05" of water content. Snowed on and off throughout the day with 1" additional at 1600. SW winds increased in the afternoon, but observed wind transport was minimal. The sun briefly peeked out a couple of times during the day.
Snowpack
No signs of widespread instability, but small (D1-1.5) storm slabs were easily triggered (N-NE, near and below treeline) within the new snow with limited propagation. Several large (D2) natural avalanches out of very steep terrain were observed below treeline on N aspects.
