Crowsnest North

Checked out the snow in Crowsnest North of the highway today and found 20-30cm of soft snow. We observed a couple loose dry avalanches in steep extreme alpine terrain. The temperatures had already started to warm up to -5 and the SouthWest winds were starting to move the low density snow onto north facing slopes.
