Snowpack

Unconsolidated crust, maybe 3" thick riding atop 5'-6' of powder snow. No faceting observed. Powder snow to granular. No layering observed at any depth. Top crust passed single finger test. Snow holding on 37-41 degree slopes. No instability observed. Elevation range: 12,300'-13,100' Aspects: East slopes, south slopes, west slopes. South-facing slopes had the greatest stability.
