Weather

strong winds on divide. Warm temperatures. In and out clouds on divide full sun below. East aspect 12k to 10k

Snowpack

Snow on east facing aspect 12k was wind transported but no signs of instability. Dense for sure. Lower down ~11k About 10” of cold wind transported snow on firmer crust appeared well bonded. Skied two quality laps without issue. S-SE Slopes emanating from cliffs off Mt. Otis showed roller balls around 2p. Otis Redding has 8” storm snow? with less wind affect on NE aspect. Some sloughing in storm snow no other issues.
