Weather

Clouds and strong winds buffeted the central Sawatch Range, along the northern part of Taylor Park. The southern part of Taylor Park and the high peaks of the southern Sawatch saw much less wind, with very limited wind-transported snow.

Snowpack

I found a very shallow snowpack on the western side of the southern Sawatch Range. I found enough snow to make vehicle travel up the 4x4 roads a little slick, but not enough snow to produce a large avalanche anywhere.
